Placing the CE marking on the product, means that the person responsible for the product declares its compatibility with common safety regulations described in CE directive. If the product is covered by a few directives of New Approach at the same time, the CE marking is a declaration, that it conforms with each of these directives.   Marking with metrology sticker - green square with letter M i san additional sticker which confirms that non-automatic weighing instrument, to which it applies, meet the Basic requirements of directive "Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments" - 90/384/EEC.   EX marker is a special marker for products designer for operation in explosive zones. This marker is used to indicate, that the equipment is compatible with European norms and requirements of Directive 94/9/EC (Directive ATEX, name of the directive derives from French expression "ATmosphere EXplosible").
