RADWAG Measuring Laboratory, as the first in Poland, has been granted PCA accreditation for calibration of piston automatic pipettes.

The accreditation covers single channel pipettes with fix and adjustable volume with volume ranging between 1 µl – 5000 µl. Calibration is conducted with gravimetric method, and according to norm ISO 8655-6. The measurement are conducted in RADWAG Measuring Laboratory in Radom.

Personnel training on general aspects of metrology and determination of mass, supervision over measuring equipment, exploitation of electronic weighing instruments and quality management systems in laboratories.

The Measuring Laboratory provides measuring traceability by combining calibration results with national calibration mass unit maintained in Central Office of Measures, Poland and Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Germany. After calibration process is completed, the Laboratory issues calibration certificate which is accompanied by accreditation marker from PCA, no. AP 069. The certificate specifies the reference mass that was used to check retraceability of certified product.  

According to norm EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 a calibration certificate holding above specified data is a sufficient document confirming retraceability of a product
