Design:
A PUE 5 weighing terminal is built into a waterproof casing manufactured in stainless steel technology for operation in hard industrial conditions (dust and humidity). Thus, the terminal is resistant to disinfection detergents while cleaning. PUE 5 weighing terminal is equipped with 12,1" colored active matrix of graphic display with resolution 800×600 pixels, which provides very good readability on various angles. Operating the terminal is possible through a touch screen (the front panel of the terminal is not equipped with a keyboard). It makes the operation and full utilization of the terminal features very intuitive even for a non-trained personnel. The functionality of the terminal matches the one present in modern computer systems. Depending on type of installed touch screen, the user can reach expected IP rating. Panel applying infrared technology allows for reaching highest IP rating, i.e. IP 67, and a resistance panel offers IP 65 protection rating.
The PUE 5 terminal can be supplied from alternating current 88-264 V, 50-60Hz. As standard the terminal is offered with: RS232, RS485, Ethernet, 2×USB 2.0, 4 in / 4 out.
The PUE 5 terminal can contain up to two weighing modules with possibility of connecting additional platforms. Power A / D converter on the weighing module +5 V (one module as standard). |

A Scale and a Computer in one:
PUE 5 weighing terminal is an original device containing a computer and a weighing module in one casing. Both components are connected through internally installed interface. The weighing module is fully functional scale with
non-volatile memory
attached to the module, and no display.
Apart from standard interfaces, it is possible to extend the features of the terminal by additional modules: 8 in / 8 out WE8, additional weighing platform module MW-02 and Profibus module.
The terminal can be extended by external modules for dosing and weighing, which can have autonomic supervision the dosing process.
There is also a possibility to connect peripheral devices to the terminal. The devices are: barcode scanner, transponder card scanner, receipt and label printers, additional display and other devices connectable through USB port to standard PC computers with corresponding drivers being installed.
